STOKE Easy Rider Potters have appointed Malcolm Vasey as their new team manager for the 2010 campaign.
Vasey who has a vast knowledge of the sport having been co-chairman of the Boston Barracudas and team manager of Mildenhall, Boston and more recently the Scunthorpe Saints replaces John Woolridge as the Potters boss after Woolridge had to step down due to ill health.
Stoke promoter Dave Tattum said “Malcolm has a vast amount of knowledge in the sport having been around in various capacities for a long time and I’m confident he will do a good job for us. He is enthusiastic, flamboyant, knows the rulebook inside out and wants to win and I’m sure he will go down well with the supporters.”
Vasey leaves his job as Scunthorpe Saints team manager with immediate affect and meets his new charges when the Potters hold their press and practice day on Wednesday 10th March.
